Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to progressive care (PCU) patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications, including cardiac progressive drips
Monitor cardiac rhythms and post-procedural patients
Perform dressing changes and ongoing wound assessments
Communicate patient status effectively with physicians and care teams
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
Accurately document all care per hospital standards
Participate in problem-solving for variances in patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and clinical guidelines

Required

Active RN License – REQUIRED
BLS – REQUIRED
ACLS – REQUIRED
BSN – REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years of recent Progressive Care (PCU) experience – REQUIRED
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing – REQUIRED

Preferred

Experience with cardiac progressive drips and post-procedural care
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
