NetActuate is seeking a Web Developer who is experienced with REST APIs and PHP. The role involves both junior and senior level responsibilities, focusing on application architecture, data modeling, and collaboration with other developers using various communication tools.

Responsibilities

We make use of slack, zoom, whatsapp and Skype for internal and external communication and you are expected to be available during your expected work hours
May be called upon for other projects or assignments with reasonable notice of schedule changes/modifications
Strong PHP5/6/7 OOP/MVC
Working experience with Laravel, vue.js
Experience with other PHP frameworks, e.g. Symfony, CI, CakePHP, FF, etc.)
Strong HTML/CSS and experience w/ bootstrap and template engines (like smarty) REST / JSON API(s)
Experience using MySQL, MariaDB, various NoSQL, etc
Experience with jquery, javascript, etc. a plus

Required

Experience with REST API(s) – both consuming and producing them
Experience with PHP
Strong PHP5/6/7 OOP/MVC
Working experience with Laravel, vue.js
Experience with other PHP frameworks, e.g. Symfony, CI, CakePHP, FF, etc
Strong HTML/CSS and experience with bootstrap and template engines (like smarty)
Experience using MySQL, MariaDB, various NoSQL, etc
Experience with jquery, javascript, etc
Understanding of test cases and continuous automation/integration
Familiarity with git, SVN or CBS
Comfortable using web meetings, trello, gitlab, slack for collaboration
Availability during expected work hours

Preferred

Experience with modern frameworks (react, angularjs, etc.)
Experience with larger, complex applications
Open to learning
