Meeting and Event Coordinator / Administrative Assistant
Big I Illinois is a 125-year-old trade association supporting independent insurance agents and consumers throughout the state. They are seeking a dynamic Meeting and Event Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to support events, communications, and membership initiatives, including planning in-person meetings and managing social media messaging.

Responsibilities
Support the Director with planning and provide assistance implementing in-person meetings and conventions as well as virtual educational sessions
Plan and distribute promotional emails
Manage social media messaging
Create digital and print materials such as flyers, advertising and signage using Canva
Manage basic website content updates
Coordinate projects
Develop communications
Provide onsite event support such as registration desk, session support, and casual video or photography to post on social media and other communications
Qualification
Required
Experience coordinating projects
Developing communications
Working as part of a team
Basic knowledge of posting on social media platforms
Communications and Marketing skills
Experience creating digital and print materials such as flyers, advertising and signage using Canva
Managing basic website content updates
In-state travel will be required one to two nights per month to provide onsite event support
