Responsibilities

Compile, review, analyze, and evaluate financial data submitted in grantee reimbursement requests
Ensure compliance with established procedures, requirements, laws, and regulations; completeness of data; and presence of adequate documentation
Peer reviews the work of others
Interpret program requirements to grantees to ensure financial compliance with applicable state and federal statutes and regulations
Represent the Texas Emissions Reduction Program (TERP) Reimbursement Team in meetings with grantees, stakeholders, and management
Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of financial processes and procedures to safeguard the award and reimbursement of state funds
Prepare ad-hoc reports on the status of reimbursement requests and compiles information in response to grantee, management, or legislative inquiries

Required

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, economics, business, public administration, or a related field, plus three years of full-time experience in lending, credit analysis, financial analysis, budget analysis, or financial regulatory work
Completion of an internship in the areas listed may substitute for six months of the required experience
Certification as a public accountant (CPA) plus two years of full-time experience in lending, credit analysis, financial analysis, or financial regulatory work
A copy of your official college transcript or evaluation of foreign credentials in CAPPS is required if needed to meet the qualifications listed above

Preferred

Experience with reviewing and processing requests for reimbursement for a grant or contract
