Responsibilities
Manage, review, and sign off on a variety of federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses and individuals
Lead tax planning engagements, identifying opportunities and advising clients on strategies aligned with their goals
Serve as a primary contact for clients -- providing proactive insights, explanations, and recommendations
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants and senior-level team members
Ensure high-quality client service through effective workflow management, review procedures, and process improvements
Conduct and oversee tax research, interpret legislation, and help develop firm-wide best practices
Partner with accounting and advisory teams to deliver a cohesive, comprehensive service experience
Qualification
Required
Approximately 5+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in public accounting or a similar advisory-focused environment
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations for business entities and individuals
Excellent communication skills -- able to explain complex topics clearly to business owners
Preferred
CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
