Responsibilities
Provide legal representation and counsel to Condominium, Homeowner, and Townhome Associations
Conduct legal research and review documents to support client matters
Draft, finalize, and record governing documents, opinion letters, and violation demand letters
Advise Boards of Directors on governance issues, statutes, and compliance with governing documents
Attend client Board meetings to provide legal guidance
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of condominium statutes
Manage multiple tasks and deliver timely follow-up to Principal Attorneys and clients
Participate in all Continuing Legal Education training
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Licensed in Illinois
Strong writing and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Desire to provide superior work product and client service
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Team player with ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred
Trial and arbitration experience
Knowledge of and experience with the Illinois Condominium Property Act/Common Interest Community Association Act
Familiarity with Illinois Condominium law helpful but not required
