Responsibilities

Monitor quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the program’s clinical services and safety of the environment of care
Help develop, implement, and deploy agency policy and procedures
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff
Interview, hire, and train clinical and administrative staff, including any needed personnel management
Provide administrative supervision for plant operations; ensure a safe and secure environment of care
Ensure clinical staff maintain accurate, complete, and timely records that comply with regulatory standards and agency internal policy and procedure
Monitor such metrics as staff productivity, billing compliance, budget or contract measures, and key performance indicators
Ensure that all program staff uphold the agency's policies and comply with all Federal, State, Local, and regulatory agency (CARF, JCAHO) laws/regulations

Required

Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Nursing or related advanced degree
Clinical licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD, NP, or RN with relevant experience
At least 4 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment
At least 3 years of administrative/supervisory experience in the field of addiction and/or mental health
Knowledge of evidence-based treatments, managed care principles, and behavioral practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and EHR
Ability to implement and monitor policy and procedure in accordance with agency guidelines
Knowledgeable about Federal, state and local law and regulation governing substance abuse treatment programs

Preferred

Will also consider in lieu of the above listed degrees and licensure: a Master's degree with an OASAS CASAC certification (Advanced or Master Level), including OASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II (30 hours)
Seminar in Field Instructions (SIFI) preferred or willingness to obtain within one year from date of hire
Knowledge of OASAS, OMH, CSAT guidance
