Responsibilities

Manage, retain, and expand an established portfolio of SLED customers across Orange County, with select accounts in Riverside and Los Angeles Counties
Build trusted relationships with IT leadership, administrators, procurement, and executive stakeholders
Navigate SLED procurement rules, purchasing processes, and compliance requirements
Effectively leverage contract vehicles (state contracts, cooperatives, master agreements) to accelerate sales cycles
Drive adoption of MRR and ARR-based solutions, focusing on long-term customer value
Position solutions around measurable business outcomes, not just products
Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve revenue growth targets
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
Collaborate with sales engineering, customer success, and partner teams to ensure successful implementations and renewals

Required

5+ years of relevant sales experience, with a proven focus on SLED customers (education, state, or local government)
Strong understanding of SLED procurement rules, purchasing cycles, and contract vehicles
Demonstrated success managing and growing an existing book of public-sector accounts
Experience selling complex, solution-based offerings
Ability to articulate and deliver business outcomes aligned to customer goals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Preferred

Strong Experience in Aruba Networks, Fortinet, and/or Verkada solutions
Experience selling networking, security, and infrastructure solutions
Proven success selling MRR and ARR-based offerings
Existing relationships within Orange County SLED organizations
Experience managing multi-county territories
