Corporate Procurement Intern
TalentRise Solutions is an HR consultancy firm that assists candidates in matching with potential roles through an AI system. The Corporate Procurement Intern will be exposed to various aspects of the Procurement/Sourcing process, developing an understanding of the Purchase to Pay Process and engaging with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of Progressive’s Purchase to Pay Process and Category/Commodity Management
Network with various business stakeholders and fellow sourcing professionals
Create and analyze data and share insights with team members and leaders
Qualification
Required
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Communication, Sales, Actuarial, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Human Resources, Accountancy, Management, Media Studies or any field of study in which you'll meet the minimum requirements for a full-time role within 12 months of successful completion of this internship
Listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a detailed-oriented and organized environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to be adaptable and have intellectual curiosity
