They are seeking a Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining high-performance data pipelines and platforms that support quantitative research, live trading, and analytics.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for market, reference, and alternative datasets
Ingest, clean, normalise, and validate high-frequency and large-scale financial data
Develop robust data models and storage solutions to support quantitative research and back-testing
Work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to ensure data quality, availability, and performance
Optimise data infrastructure for low latency, reliability, and scalability
Implement monitoring, testing, and data quality checks across pipelines
Contribute to architecture decisions around data platforms, tooling, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Strong experience as a Data Engineer, ideally within trading, fintech, or data-intensive environments
Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data modelling, distributed systems)
Strong programming skills in Python
Experience working with large, complex datasets (time-series data highly desirable)
Comfortable working in Linux-based, production-critical environments
Implement monitoring, testing, and data quality checks across pipelines
Contribute to architecture decisions around data platforms, tooling, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure
Preferred
Experience with Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or similar
Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data stacks
Experience supporting quantitative or analytical teams
