Responsibilities
Manage overall retention and growth of assigned client accounts
Lead annual renewal strategy, planning, and implementation
Identify opportunities to enhance client benefit programs
Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, HR leaders, and executives
Respond to client and employee inquiries related to enrollment, billing, and claims
Liaise with insurance carriers to resolve issues
Troubleshoot and proactively address potential challenges
Conduct open enrollment meetings (virtual and onsite)
Present renewal and compliance updates to clients
Clearly communicate both internally, and externally, to ensure seamless service
Work collaboratively with consultants and service team members
Stay current on industry trends, legislation, and compliance
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, or related field
Working knowledge of health insurance plans and benefit structures
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel for client meetings
Preferred
Wisconsin Life & Health License (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
Experience with online benefits administration systems
Industry designations
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in employee benefits
