Senior Human Resources Manager
DEI Recruiting and Consulting is a mission-driven nonprofit organization serving the Dallas community, and they are seeking a Senior HR Generalist who is passionate about supporting employees and strengthening culture. This role involves supporting the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
Supporting and administering payroll processes in partnership with our payroll provider
Ensuring compliance with federal, state (Texas), and local employment laws
Supporting and advising leaders on hiring for both hourly and salaried roles, including job postings, interviewing, and selection best practices
Partnering with leaders on employee performance management, including coaching, feedback, and documentation
Supporting employee relations matters with professionalism, consistency, and empathy
Assisting with the maintenance and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and employee records
Helping create an inclusive, respectful, and mission-aligned workplace culture
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably as an HR Generalist
Hands-on experience with payroll administration
Hands-on experience with HR compliance and employment law
Hands-on experience with hiring and onboarding both hourly and salaried employees
Hands-on experience with employee performance management
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach
Ability to balance structure, compliance, and compassion
Preferred
Experience working in a nonprofit organization
Experience with or exposure to employee benefits administration
