Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within polymer additives across the U.S
Lead technical sales engagements with compounders, processors, resin producers, and OEMs
Leverage your understanding of polymer compounding and formulation to support customer trials, troubleshooting, and product selection
Build strong relationships with technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders at customer sites
Drive long‑term growth by understanding emerging trends in additives, resin systems, and application performance
Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Technical Service to support new product introductions and development programs
Develop territory strategies, manage opportunity pipelines, and deliver accurate forecasting
Represent the company at conferences, technical forums, and customer visits as a knowledgeable industry partner
Provide insights into competitive activity and help shape strategic positioning
Maintain rigorous reporting on customer activities, progress, and market intelligence

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field

Proven success in winning new business — a true hunter mentality
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial value propositions
Creative, outside-the-box problem solver with strong analytical thinking
Effective communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally
Willingness to travel within the U.S. for customer visits and industry events
