IT Support MSP is a NYC based Managed Service Provider servicing metro area small business firms since 1980. They are seeking a full-time Network/Desktop Field Technician to provide remote and onsite support for a wide variety of clients and systems, with responsibilities including installing and maintaining Windows servers and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Installing and maintaining Windows servers, Windows/MAC computers, and Network/Internet infrastructure
Installing and maintaining software applications (MSOffice, QB...), Office365 Email, server/desktop security tools
Installing and maintaining SonicWALL Firewalls, VPN connections, managed switches/routers
Configuring and monitoring local and cloud backup systems (AWS, SharePoint/OneDrive, Backup Exec, Carbonite, Acronis)

Required

Must be organized, attentive, able to communicate clearly and effectively, have excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with a broad range of systems and products
Must have a valid drivers license and be able to bring an automobile daily to use for local travel to client sites -- expenses reimbursed
Must have at least three years paid experience providing similar services
Must have experience installing and maintaining: Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, SATA/SAS storage w/RAID, Cat 6+ cabling and testing

Preferred

Microsoft MCSA/MCSE certifications or equivalent
Experience managing Veritas Backup Exec, Carbonite and Acronis backup applications
Experience installing/configuring SonicWALL firewalls/routers
Experience installing/configuring Eset NOD32 and Malwarebytes/Threatdown security products
Experience installing/configuring HP Proliant Servers, MAC computers
Experience installing/configuring QuickBooks multi-user desktop
Experience installing/crimping/terminating/testing CAT 6 network cabling
