Office and Permitting Coordinator
RM Homes is a small, local homebuilder seeking an entry-level Office and Permitting Coordinator to support their office and permitting operations for residential construction projects. The role involves completing and submitting permit applications, maintaining accurate records, and corresponding with local jurisdictions and trade partners.
Responsibilities
Complete and submit permit applications
Track permit applications and maintain accurate records
Correspond with and follow up with local jurisdictions, consultants, and trade partners
Support permit specialist as needed
Support with general office tasks
Qualification
Required
Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, including the ability to modify and annotate PDFs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities
Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred
Previous experience in construction related permitting, preferred but not required
