Responsibilities

Firmware Development: Develop and maintain firmware for wearable and point-of-care systems using C/C++ with common frameworks, including Arduino and the nRF Connect SDK. Ensure reliable BLE communication, sensor data acquisition, and low-power operation
Software Development: Design and implement desktop and mobile applications with user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for data visualization, device control, and real-time monitoring
Electronic & Device Development: Assist with circuit design, sensor integration, PCB layout, and assembly (soldering) to support the development of wearable and point-of-care systems
Collaboration & Testing: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to debug, test, and optimize both firmware and software components to ensure seamless device performance

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Understanding of electronics and embedded systems
Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and design considerations
Familiarity with PCB schematics and interpretation of electronic data sheets
Strong problem-solving, hardware, and software debugging skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity with modern CAD and 3D printing techniques

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, technology, or related field
Experience with C, C++, Python, and MATLAB
Experience developing PCBs using Altium
Experience writing firmware with the nRF Connect SDK
Software development experience with the .NET framework
