Sr Engineer, Salesforce Software Engineer (2 - 5 years experience)

Responsibilities
Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and best practices
Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities
Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques
Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation
Manages project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles across languages such as Java and/or Salesforce Apex
Experience using GitHub and contributing to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Harness)
Ability to deliver, operate, and support enterprise‑scale software solutions
Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and collaboration skills
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree
Experience: Two or more years of analysis and technology experience
Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
Proven ability to tackle moderately sophisticated business and development problems
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Preferred
Salesforce platform development and integrations
Java services development; Spring Boot a plus
Python experience for automation or integration support
Experience aligning with DevOps and 'build it, run it' delivery models
Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus
