Responsibilities
Develop thoughtful, hospitality-inspired concepts
Create polished presentations + documentations
Source furniture, finishes + materials with intention
Communicate with teammates, clients, potential clients, vendors, contractors, etc. throughout project lifespan
Arrange + conduct site visits for client +/or vendor meetings
Accuracy on site — measuring, documenting + collaborating with GCs, vendors + clients
Assess the needs of each project with a very high attention to detail
Obtain accurate estimates + bids
Deliver + pick-up samples/materials from clients + vendors
Maintain industry knowledge to stay relevant
Qualification
Required
5+ years at a design firm
Strong proficiency in CAD, InDesign + Photoshop
Exceptional creativity + a refined design point of view
A proactive, solution-based mindset
Very high attention to detail with a sense of urgency + accuracy
Impeccable verbal + written communication skills
Independent, self-starter with the ability to adapt through frequent pivots
Proficiency in Google applications (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
Must be able to work independently + follow direction
Ability to receive constructive feedback + is unafraid to ask questions + seek clarity on all aspects of design + business
Experienced with CAD + own license/subscription
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud + Photoshop + InDesign + own license/subscription
Drivers license with own means of transportation + flexibility to travel locally or out of state as needed
