New Grad, Entry LevelGeater Machining & Manufacturing, located in Independence, IA, is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Finishing/Wet Spray Operations Technician. This role involves mixing, preparing, and applying paint and other coating agents to enhance products while ensuring they meet manufacturing specifications.

Responsibilities
Mix, prepare, and apply paint, ink or other coating agents to products or materials to enhance and/or provide corrosion resistance per manufacturing requirements
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine prepping /deprepping
Mix paints and inks with proper thinner solution to obtain correct consistency for application
Apply paint in accordance with product requirements
Mask parts and clean parts
Select holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials for proper application of paints
Verify finished parts meet specifications and blueprints using measuring devices
Qualification
Required
Record of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Self-motivated and willing to learn and grow
