Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment
Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
Qualification
Required
Good hand/eye coordination – manual dexterity is required as will be working with glass products
Read drawings/blueprints/work instructions
Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (required)
Close attention to detail and quality
J-Standard soldering experience
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience
Preferred
Microscope experience
Soldering experience
Experience handling small products/microchips
Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred)
Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production)
Soldering certification preferred
