They are seeking an Event Manager to lead on-site execution of live experiential events, ensuring smooth operations from setup through breakdown.
Events Services
Responsibilities
Lead and direct EventSquad staff during live events
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and vendors
Manage event timelines, logistics, and flow
Make real-time decisions to solve problems and keep events on track
Ensure setup, execution, and breakdown meet VVS standards
Communicate clearly with internal leadership before, during, and after events
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership experience (events, hospitality, athletics, military, or similar environments)
Calm, solutions-oriented decision-making under pressure
Strong communication and team-direction skills
Availability for weekends and occasional evenings
Hands-on mindset — willing to jump in when needed
Comfortable standing/walking 6–8+ hours and lifting up to ~50 lbs
Reliable transportation to event sites across the DMV area
Preferred
Formal event management experience
