Responsibilities
Read engineering drawings and specifications
Production and/or torque test assembled actuators
Inspection of machined parts, verifying the accuracy to engineering drawings using calibrated inspection devices
Operate a coordinate measuring machine
Calibration of inspection devices (micrometers, thread gages, depth gages, dial calipers etc)
Perform the following types of tests on raw materials or machine parts: verify the material hardness, conduct spring testing as required on qualified equipment, non-destructive testing (dye penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle)
Assist the Quality Group Leader in the training of other departmental employees
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Two to five years of inspection experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
