Scrum Master
Equity Trust Company is seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate agile delivery for cross-functional teams as part of their digital transformation. The role involves partnering with Product Owners and Tech Leads to drive predictable delivery, team health, and continuous improvement while coaching team members on agile principles.

Responsibilities
Facilitates sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Leads backlog refinement sessions in partnership with Product Owners
Establishes and maintains sprint cadence and team rituals
Drives continuous improvement through actionable retrospective outcomes
Serves as the team leader responsible for team health and dynamics
Builds psychological safety and fosters high-performing team culture
Coaches team members on agile principles and self-organization
Tracks and communicates team velocity and delivery metrics
Identifies and removes blockers to team productivity
Coordinates cross-team dependencies with Platform Team and external contractors
Shields teams from scope creep, priority changes, and organizational distractions
Escalates issues to leadership when blockers require intervention
Partners with Tech Leads on balancing technical debt against feature delivery
Works with Product Owners on realistic sprint commitments and release planning
Coordinates with contractor teams on shared dependencies
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role
Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related field; relevant work experience considered in lieu of degree
Preferred
Financial services experience preferred
CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum certification preferred
Salesforce development environments (preferred, not required)
Azure DevOps or similar agile project management tools
