Sales Director - USA
Trident Search is partnering with a fast-growing offensive security SaaS company redefining how modern security teams validate risk. They are hiring their first Sales Director to lead and develop a growing US sales organization and drive consistency across a high-velocity sales motion.

Responsibilities
Own day-to-day execution across the full sales cycle
Coach AEs to hit $1M quotas using MEDPICC and strong deal discipline
Prevent deal stall in the propose & validate stages of a ~5–6 month cycle
Act as executive sponsor on complex, high-value opportunities
Ensure clean, accurate CRM data (HubSpot) and repeatable processes
Reduce ramp time and time-to-first-deal for new hires
Partner closely with leadership as the sales org scales
Qualification
Required
Proven first-line sales leadership experience in cybersecurity
Experience in mid-market or commercial sales environments (not enterprise)
Demonstrated success managing high deal volume and long sales cycles
Strong coaching capability using MEDPICC or similar methodologies
Experience selling products or platforms (not services-only)
Comfortable managing at scale — dozens of deals per rep, hundreds across the team
Willing and able to work closely with an in-office BDR team in Madison
Preferred
Experience helping a sales organization move from early-stage to scalable and repeatable execution
