Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Managers to refine and verify user stories
Design and execute detailed test plans for new and existing features
Become the expert on Symphonic’s content and catalog management systems, including ingestion, publishing, licensing, rights, and metadata workflows for assets like sound recordings, music videos, and compositions
Reproduce reported issues and file clear, actionable bug reports
Communicate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and other squads
Participate in daily standups and ongoing team planning sessions
Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, tools, and documentation
Help track and report on defect trends and quality metrics
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in QA for web-based, client-facing applications
Exceptional attention to detail, especially in interpreting complex requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate SQL knowledge for querying and validating data
A user-first mindset with empathy for artists and internal stakeholders
Ability to evaluate usability and spot inconsistencies in user experiences
Comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating remotely
Preferred
More than 4 years of experience as a QA
Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar
YouTube CMS certified
Experience using browser developer tools and debugging front-end issues
Automated testing experience (any framework)
