Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Physics Adjunct Faculty to teach introductory and advanced Physics courses at Olympic College. The role involves preparing and teaching courses, maintaining student records, and providing high-quality instruction while accommodating a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Prepare and teach developmental and/or college-level Physics course(s)
Provide high quality, enthusiastic instruction including related preparation and grading
Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the division office as requested
Maintain accurate records of students and complete forms and records as required
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate evening instruction
May include teaching at the Bremerton, Poulsbo, and Shelton Campuses
Maintain clear and punctual communication with students, faculty, and staff
Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required

Qualification

Master's degree in PhysicsTeaching experienceLearning Management SystemMicrosoft applicationsCustomer service skillsCultural awarenessCommunication skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Master's degree in Physics required
Related Master's degree with substantial graduate level Physics course work may be considered
Computer skills including Microsoft applications

Preferred

Successful experience teaching Physics at a College or University
Experience with Learning Management System software such as Canvas
