Billing Analyst

Michelin Connected Fleet is a subsidiary of Michelin that provides GPS fleet management solutions. As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the billing process, resolving customer billing issues, and improving customer relationships to enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with the assistance needed to research, troubleshoot and resolve billing questions or issues
Conduct analysis by researching billing data, leveraging the customer data in ERP, CRM tools (Great Plains/ Microsoft dynamics and Salesforce.com) and other tools such as our customer-facing platform and online bill payment portal
Conduct account reconciliations via quantitative and qualitative data, identify potential billing issues and research to determine impact to other customers
Interface with other departments as needed to facilitate the timely resolution of customer requests
Be the internal voice and advocate for the customer
Build relationships with customers and responding to their requests in a timely manner, improve the customer experience
Ensure timely communication of acknowledgements, status updates, and resolution of any billing questions or issues
Ensure accurate billing of assigned customer base
Process manual adjustments or create manual invoices related to bill or resolve billing issues
Identify and continually seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiency for client; collaborate with team and other departments to test and implement enhancements
Double as a backup for contract analysis (if applicable)

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong ability to recognize problems, analyze data, draw valid conclusions, and present information to managers, peers, and customers
5+ years working in a customer facing relationship management environment
Experience with CRM tool (preferably SalesForce and Service Cloud) and ERP tool (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
Experience with SalesForce CPQ for contract management is a plus
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot)
Must be a self-starter and accountable for job duties
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Impeccable attention to detail and follow through
Ability to work with customers in a professional manner under stressful situations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
