Communications Consultant

Gap is seeking a Junior Communications Consultant to support internal and employee communications for their Global Supply Chain and Product Development teams. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver clear and engaging communications while providing exposure to executive communications and large-scale internal events.

Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of internal communications for Global Supply Chain and Product Development teams
Assist in creating and distributing newsletters, emails, presentations, and internal updates aligned with key milestones and initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, corporate communications, and enterprise teams to gather information and ensure message accuracy
Help coordinate and support town halls, leadership updates, and internal events, including supplier-facing communications
Draft and edit content for internal channels, ensuring consistency in tone, clarity, and brand voice
Support executive communications by preparing talking points, presentation materials, and message outlines
Track basic communications metrics and help report on engagement and effectiveness
Maintain organization of communication calendars, content libraries, and distribution lists

Required

2–5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, or a related field
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating across teams and time zones
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about global supply chain and product development operations
Confident supporting senior leaders while still learning and growing in your role
