Responsibilities

Manage high volume intercompany accounting tasks
Prepare and execute month-end close activities
Conduct post-close account reconciliations
Post journal entries and treasury entries
Record cash receipts accurately
Support audit requests with necessary documentation

Qualification

GL accounting experienceDeltek CostpointIntercompany accountingMicrosoft ExcelCash account reconciliationTreasury experienceCommunication skills

Required

Candidate must have worked in the Government Contract industry
3+ years of GL accounting experience with a large government contractor ($200M+ revenue)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Proficiency in intercompany accounting
Experience with Deltek Costpoint
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

Preferred

Experience with Cognos
Treasury experience
Cash account reconciliation skills
Ability to work effectively in the DMV area
Capability to take direct instructions and communicate needs clearly
Comfortable with interim contract work
