Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
Deliver high‑quality features end‑to‑end, ensuring performance, security, reliability, and maintainability across systems
Contribute to technical architecture decisions, influencing long‑term backend strategy and system design
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including product, frontend, QA, and DevOps, to define requirements and integrate components
Review code and provide constructive feedback, championing clean architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, leading root‑cause analysis and implementing long‑term solutions for complex system problems
Maintain and enhance technical documentation, coding standards, and architectural patterns to ensure consistency and quality across teams
Stay current with emerging backend technologies, evaluating and recommending tools, frameworks, or patterns that bring measurable value
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc
Preferred
10+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering with a proven track record of building reliable, scalable systems
Expert-level proficiency in Java, with extensive hands-on experience in the Spring Boot ecosystem, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security
Strong background in RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems design
Deep understanding of core computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, as well as containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong SQL and NoSQL database expertise, including databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis
Proficiency with modern development tooling, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, build automation frameworks, and observability/monitoring tools
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems, deliver high-quality code, and independently own critical system components
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, QA, and DevOps teams
