Responsibilities
Advocate for the customer and ensure they are always heard, understood, and supported
Create and deliver custom presentations that capture the problems, solutions, and overall progress throughout the proof-of-concept journey
Facilitate interactive, informative, and tailored proof-of-concepts
Demonstrate a firm understanding of primary security tenets including confidentiality, integrity, availability, and role-based access control
Maintain a big-picture view of the solution, understanding both the technology and how the solution fits into the overall business problem that Red Canary is solving
Qualification
Required
6+ years of sales engineering experience
Knowledge of the security industry, including competitors, market needs, and trends
Strong technical knowledge of networking, identity, cloud, and endpoint security
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), CEH, CSSP, or Security+
Proficiency with Windows and Linux command-line, system configuration, troubleshooting, and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Ruby
Practical knowledge of enterprise EDR solutions, metadata analysis, and proactive threat hunting through large endpoint datasets
