Responsibilities

Develops and implements a strategic business plan identifying both short-range and long-range goals, ensuring that the business needs are met and growth options are considered, resourced, and implemented
Reports to the President of Spectrum and Ambulatory Care at TeamHealth, providing relevant information necessary to keep the President apprised of the operational performance of D&Y
Develops and implements policies pertinent to the daily operations of the business unit, including but not limited to: Physician relations (e.g., contracting, compensation, benefits, etc.), client relations, budgeting, fiscal oversight, growth, etc
Provides proactive leadership to anticipate the current and ongoing managerial and functional needs of D&Y
Works closely with other TeamHealth service line leaders to provide quality physician services as needed
Creates and maintains a succession plan identifying clearly who the key successors are and the need for career development
Participates at an executive leadership level in mergers and acquisitions for the business unit
Responsible for overall EBITDA goals and budgetary compliance
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Proven track record of ten plus years of experience in executive leadership with overall earnings and budgetary responsibilities
Ability to provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports
Ability to build highly high-functioning team
Outstanding communication and people skills
