Responsibilities
Resolve production support (PST) tickets efficiently and accurately
Maintain and enhance existing PHP applications, with a primary focus on Validate
Troubleshoot and fix backend issues impacting production systems
Improve code quality by reducing duplication and applying clean, reusable patterns
Implement and maintain unit tests to prevent regressions and improve stability
Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and established design patterns
Collaborate with internal team members to prioritize and deliver high-impact fixes
Contribute to improving long-term maintainability of a legacy framework codebase
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with PHP 7 and PHP 8
Strong knowledge of core/vanilla PHP (legacy codebase support)
Experience maintaining and debugging production systems
Solid understanding of OOP and common design patterns
Experience writing and maintaining unit tests (PHPUnit or similar)
Ability to work quickly while maintaining high quality and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with Laravel (not required)
Familiarity with EDI systems or related workflows (nice to have, not required)
Experience working in environments with high production ticket volume
