Business Development Representative

Responsibilities
Develop a solid understanding of the Open Security value proposition and customer-buyer personas
Lead prospective customer engagements as the face of Open Security and the first point of interaction
Establish relationships with key decision makers, influencers, project stakeholders, business and technical buyers, and partners within the territory
Drive sales prospecting by identifying key points of contact within assigned target accounts
Qualify sales opportunities and deliver leads to the regional team at or above the assigned monthly new pipeline quotas
Develop trust internally and externally by ensuring our processes and outreach methods are best in class
Maintaining consistency and high output with outbound call volume efforts to DMs/icp
Utilize CRM tools to track all activity and share metrics with the broader sales team and leadership
Attain monthly targets for leads, prospects, and bookings within targeted accounts
Remain current with cybersecurity news, techniques, and trends
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
1-2 years of Business Development or Sales experience in technology, software or information security
Cold outreach experience
Highly motivated and adept at exceeding sales activity targets
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with channel partners, sales leadership, and customer prospects daily
Prior experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and Salesloft
Demonstrated ability to leverage social media and the internet to support customer lead generation
Experience in exceeding outbound lead generation quotas
Ability to pass a pre-employment background in accordance with applicable laws
