Responsibilities
Manage data center inventory and asset lifecycle tracking
Coordinate third-party vendor access with security teams
Handle inbound/outbound logistics and material movement
Perform inventory audits, data corrections, and cycle counts
Manage warranty processes and data-bearing device (DBD) destruction
Support procurement and operational excellence initiatives
Perform rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Intel & AMD servers
Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment
Troubleshoot server hardware and resolve issues via ticketing systems
Support IAM-related tasks and shift-based operations
Provide hands-on “feet on the floor” lab and data center support
Qualification
Required
Data center operations and asset management experience
Linux fundamentals and basic scripting knowledge
Experience with server hardware, GPU/CPU infrastructure
Understanding of virtualization, networking, and infrastructure components
Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and Unix OS installation
Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills
Preferred
Cabling expertise (port mapping, cable types, structured cabling)
RAID concepts and basic hardware troubleshooting
Experience with Cisco Layer 2 devices
Exposure to web server or database installations
Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs and work on ladders
Comfortable in fast-paced, shift-based environments
