Responsibilities
Define how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different entities
Manage all assessments, inspections, designs, implementations and retirements for the Bank's data architecture in a manner that meets regulatory compliance, Bank information and security policy procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Ability to manage other data architects and data engineers in a Data Architecture Team, as well as carry a significant contributing workload as the Bank continues to build out a staff under this discipline
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and tools, such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar
Proficiency in database technologies, including SQL, Snowflake, NoSQL, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Experience with data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, CCPA, and SOX
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms
