Responsibilities
Join a busy clinical laboratory in Largo, Maryland
Work with advanced instrumentation and diverse testing responsibilities
Perform Blood Bank tasks including ABO/Rh, Antibody ID, Crossmatch, Antigen Typing, and Transfusion Reaction Workups
Conduct Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Immunoassay, and Urinalysis tests
Handle Micro tasks such as Gram Stains, Cultures, and Molecular PCR
Process specimens, accession, transport, and report results
Work independently and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills
Qualification
Required
ASCP Certification REQUIRED
Minimum 2 years experience (strong first-time travelers accepted)
Blood Bank experience REQUIRED (hard stop)
Flu Vaccine required (no exemptions)
Must live 50+ miles from facility
Preferred
ASCP-MLS + BLS preferred
