Responsibilities

Hunt, prospect, and develop new referral relationships across healthcare and senior living networks
Cold and warm outreach to build awareness and generate admissions opportunities
Navigate gatekeepers to earn meetings with decision-makers
Build trusted partnerships with: Discharge planners, Case managers, Social workers, Directors of Nursing, Executive Directors and Administrators
Conduct in-person sales visits, presentations, and follow-ups throughout your territory
Guide families and referral partners through the admissions process with urgency, clarity, and empathy
Own your pipeline end-to-end, from first contact to signed admission
Represent Sunflower Communities professionally at networking events, community meetings, and referral touchpoints

Qualification

Required

Proven hunter with success in outside sales, healthcare sales, or referral-driven business development
Comfortable with cold outreach, rejection, and persistence
Confident holding conversations with clinical leaders, administrators, and ownership groups
Highly competitive and self-motivated, driven by performance-based earnings
Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in the field
Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Minnesota

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred, not required with relevant experience
Assisted living or memory care sales
Healthcare, home care, hospice, or senior services business development
Medical device, pharmaceutical, or referral-based healthcare sales
