Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of assignments across numerous clients and varying industries
Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and providing consultation to clients relating to, agreements in a wide array of fields, including intellectual property, entertainment and sports, construction, health and digital businesses
Advising clients with respect to all stages of sales and acquisitions of a variety of businesses from inception through closing
Preparing corporate governance documents for both for-profit and nonprofit entities
Providing general counsel services for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit entities
Filing trademarks and copyrights and collaborating with the litigation team respecting the enforcement of those rights
Conducting complex legal research and analysis into nuanced areas of law, industry regulations, and practices
Qualification
Required
JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school (PLEASE NOTE: •A Master of Laws degree that was earned instead of a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school is• not •a sufficient substitute•.)
Admission in New Jersey is required
Must be able to concisely and accurately communicate, both orally and in writing
Exceptional legal research and analysis skills
Strong organizational skills with a high level of perseverance and business-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Admission in Pennsylvania or New York is preferred
At least two years of relevant experience is preferred
