Sr. Financial Analyst
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for a contract assignment with one of their premier SaaS clients. The role involves consolidating financial forecasts, analyzing results and trends, and mentoring junior analysts while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities
Consolidate OPEX and COGS forecasts from finance partners by creating Excel exhibits and Power point slides with narratives around expense trends and performance for leadership
Analyze financial results, trends, and KPIs, delivering actional insights to leadership
Perform ad hoc expense forecasting, budgeting, and models using raw data exported from Anaplan/Tableau/Power BI
Mentor and guide junior financial analysts as needed
Learn the expense and headcount data ecosystem To understand how future changes will affect current workstreams, and To drive process improvements and innovation
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4+ years of FP&A (or related) experience required
Strong communication skills, with proven ability to work across teams
Problem solving skills. Candidate should be able to propose solution frameworks that answer questions and solve business problems with minimal review required
Proficiency with Excel, Power point, Anaplan, and Tableau
Ability to architect, build, and explain dynamic, multiparameter expense/headcount excel models
Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills. Being able to manage competing task in a fast pace environment
Background in accounting, or equivalent on the job experience
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred
Fundamental data skills (e.g. beginner data engineering/science background) desirable, but not required
