Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1–2 IT support for hardware, software, network, and system issues via ticketing, email, chat, and in person
Troubleshoot and resolve issues for Windows, mobile devices, and business applications
Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, peripherals, and approved software
Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure AD)
Monitor and support office network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, switches, VPNs, and firewalls
Assist with implementation of IT security policies and best practices in collaboration with relevant teams
Maintain and update IT documentation, including SOPs and troubleshooting guides
Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate internal teams or vendors
Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements
Research, evaluate, and support the implementation of new technologies, tools, and systems
Assist with pilot programs, testing, rollouts, and user training for new IT solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field
Experience in IT support, helpdesk operations, or similar technical roles
Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux systems
Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
Experience with Microsoft 365 and common business applications
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
Proficiency in Japanese is an added advantage
