Responsibilities
Oversee the Plymouth Community Center Event Wing in the absence of a full-time staff
Serve as the primary on-site contact person for events which include wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, and corporate meetings, etc
Maintain and communicate rental policies and procedures to our internal and external customers as needed
Assist catering with questions during events
Oversee the daily event schedule to ensure proper room setups and customer needs are met in a timely fashion
Monitor the building and grounds to maintain a clean and safe environment for all users
Assist full-time staff in specific tasks including but not limited to rentals, events, programs, projects, or customer service
Assist as needed with room setups, AV equipment, cleaning, special events, empty garbage’s, or other areas necessary for PCC operations
Respond to accidents and emergencies in a controlled manner
Be present and assist rehearsal volunteers on scheduled rehearsals in the Garden
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School diploma or equivalent
One year customer service experience
Ability to work independently
Ability to move and set up tables, chairs, and sounds system equipment - Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
Availability to work nights and weekends
Ability to relate and work effectively with people of diverse cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds
