In this on-site role, you will serve as a key liaison between the company and its automotive and industrial customers, ensuring exceptional quality performance across all manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
Serve as the main contact for customer quality issues, coordinating communication, containment, and resolution
Lead structured problem-solving and root cause analysis (8D, A3, DMAIC) to implement lasting corrective actions
Support APQP and PPAP activities for new product launches and engineering changes
Interpret customer-specific requirements and integrate them into the Quality Management System (QMS)
Review prints using GD&T principles to ensure accurate interpretation of design intent
Develop inspection plans, quality criteria, and measurement strategies for production and launch
Partner with Production and Supplier Quality Engineers to maintain consistent quality
Participate in quality audits and actively support continuous improvement efforts
Track and contribute to departmental metrics that align with plant and corporate quality goals
Qualification
Required
5+ years in a manufacturing quality role with direct customer-facing experience (automotive required)
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and statistical analysis tools
Experience applying formal problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PDCA)
Working knowledge of metrology and measurement systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Minitab
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills with a proactive and detail-focused mindset
Preferred
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and ISO/IATF 16949 systems
