Oversees Accounts Payable staff and functions to ensure smooth operations in compliance with Health System Policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (G.A.A.P.)
Troubleshoots issues, analyzes root cause and assists in developing a solution
Collaborates with internal departments, vendors and auditors providing excellent customer service
Performs year end 1099 processing and corrections
Assists with projects, testing and change management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (Required) or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree (Required)
10+ years experience in accounts payable
7 years experience in a supervisory role
General Experience in an automated three way match ERP System
5 years experience 1099 Process
5 years in Escheatment Process
General Experience in AP Subledger Reconciliation
General Experience in Vendor Setup and Maintenance
General Experience in Payment Cycle Process
Preferred
5 years experience in a Healthcare setting
General Experience in PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module
