Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, low-latency tools and infrastructure, responsible for Android releases
Write clean and maintainable code using established engineering best practices. Ensure system reliability and security through comprehensive testing and monitoring
Serve as a key technical liaison, collaborating closely with multiple internal Google teams
Manage ambiguous problems that require strong problem-solving skills and define technical solutions from high-level, evolving product requirements
Take ownership of key infrastructural components, managing their full lifecycle from design to deployment and operational support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
2 years of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks)
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field
Experience using data science or statistical methods to derive insights and solve problems
Experience with AI/ML powered feature development and productization
