Responsibilities
Serve as primary Finance owner for Salesforce–Workday revenue and grants integrations
Act as the subject matter expert on revenue recognition across all major revenue streams and applicable GAAP guidance
Ensure grant financials comply with internal policies and external regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance and funder requirements
Manage the timely and accurate recognition of restricted and unrestricted grant, gift, and contribution revenue under ASC 958 and ASC 606
Maintain accurate records of grant awards, contracts, amendments, and payment schedules within Workday and Adaptive Planning
Evaluate whether agreements fall under ASC 606 (exchange transactions) or ASC 958 (contributions), and document conclusions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA required
Minimum 7 years of similar accounting experience, including substantial experience managing restricted revenue, net asset releases, and complex, multi-year grant portfolios
Advanced proficiency in Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning, including grant or project management functionality
Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM, Workday Financials, and integrated revenue architectures
Experience designing, supporting, or optimizing revenue and grants system integrations
Preferred
