NEOGOV is looking for an EEMS BabyNet Supervisor who will supervise the BabyNet Eligibility staff within a designated geographical area. The primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with eligibility determination processes and promote program awareness in the community.

Responsibilities

Reviews and analyzes daily timeline and productivity reports related to client determinations and transfers. Proactively follows up with team members on instances of delayed processing, identifies the root causes of delays, and implements appropriate resolutions and follow-up actions to ensure timely service delivery
Conducts required monthly quality assurance reviews to evaluate the effectiveness and professionalism of services provided by BabyNet Eligibility staff. Ensures that all minimum standards are consistently met. Monitors staff performance and documentation across BabyNet systems to ensure records are current, accurate, and timely. Develops and implements plans of action to maintain service quality or to correct deficiencies, ensuring compliance with program standards and expectations
Serves as a subject matter expert on current and emerging BabyNet policies and procedures, maintaining a thorough and up-to-date working knowledge. Acts as a resource for Eligibility team members and external stakeholders, providing guidance and clarification as needed. Provides ongoing input to the supervisor and local early intervention partners regarding barriers, gaps, and potential solutions within the local early intervention system. Responsible for conducting initial and ongoing training for team members to ensure consistent understanding and application of policies and procedures
Performs fundamental supervisory and leadership functions in accordance with Department policies and procedures, best practices and Federal and State rules and regulations, especially with regard to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) standards. Maintains an effective organizational team and motivates diverse staff to accomplish mission critical operations and objectives. Promotes workforce engagement
Adheres to HIPAA and all applicable federal and state laws regarding privacy, accountability, and the proper and timely reporting of non-compliance. Maintains a professional demeanor and communication style, ensuring that interactions with co-workers, supervisors, and beneficiaries are clear, polite, and concise. Participates in customer service and privacy training as required. Safeguards confidential agency, beneficiary, and personnel information, using only appropriate and secure methods for communication and documentation

Required

A bachelor's degree in child development, Education, Family and Consumer Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Health Promotions, Health Science, Human Development and Family Science, Public Health or Human Services and two (2) years of relevant professional experience in social service programs, business administration, general administrative management or relevant program experience
Sitting or standing for long periods of time
A valid driver's license is required
Requires holder to drive routinely

Supervise and manage staff effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including inter- and intra-agency staff, as well as public and private organizations
Apply considerable knowledge of child development in daily responsibilities and decision-making
Ensure adherence to BabyNet eligibility policies and procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and support team goals
Utilize Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel proficiently
Demonstrate professionalism and contribute to a positive team culture
Identify needs, make informed decisions, and respond appropriately to various situations
Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with federal, state, and departmental regulations, including FERPA and HIPAA
