Responsibilities
Performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on biomedical equipment
Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe service environment
Meeting individual and department productivity goals
Managing inventory processes and utility technician responsibilities
Completing all required training as directed by leadership
Communicating with vendors and customers professionally when needed
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 0-1 years of experience
High attention to quality and detail
Compliance with all applicable standards (SOPs and work instructions)
Good decision-making abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize work effectively
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on results
Aptitude for learning biomedical systems (like OneTrack) and device testing software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
Demonstrate a willingness to learn how to diagnose and service various biomedical devices
Preferred
Biomedical associates degree
Healthcare technology management degree
Biomedical-related military experience
Vocational certification from an Accredited Certificate Program
Related experience in medical device repair
Experience with biomedical programming/use
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) training
On-the-job training with various medical devices
Demonstrated technical competency and productivity
