Responsibilities
Manage a rigorous inventory of all records produced during forensic engagements, including financial discovery, discovery materials, and exhibits
Proactively manage 'open item' lists and follow up with relevant parties to secure missing financial information
Assist in the preparation of audit trails and document packages for depositions, mediations, and trials
Conduct deep-level reviews of draft valuation reports to ensure grammatical precision, consistent formatting, and internal coherence
Cross-check financial tables and references against original source documents (tax returns, ledgers) to identify and correct discrepancies
Summarize complex financial statements and accounting records into usable formats for the valuation team
Maintain Excel workpapers and templates used in forensic accounting and matrimonial litigation matters
Gather industry-specific and economic data using public and internal research tools
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is required
3+ years in a professional services environment (Accounting, Law Firm, or Valuation practice)
Experience with Matrimonial (Divorce) Litigation is a major plus
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF management tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Nitro)
Exceptional attention to detail
A high degree of discretion regarding confidential information
The ability to work independently under strict deadlines
