Responsibilities

Month-End Close: Manage the monthly close process for multiple properties, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Cash & Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash activity, and maintain accuracy across accounts
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial packages, review P&L statements, perform variance analysis, and maintain supporting schedules
Tenant Receivables: Oversee tenant billing, collections, and receivable balances
Accounts Payable & Compliance: Process vendor invoices, manage vendor setup, support lender and investor requests, and assist with year-end audits

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
2-5 years of property or real estate accounting experience is required
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills are required
Strong understanding of GAAP, real estate accounting practices, and internal control processes
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Prior exposure to senior living properties is preferred
Proficiency in Yardi is strongly preferred
